Bottoms Up! Most moderate-price guitars skimp on the extras – like the “V” shaped wood marquetry inlay at the bottom of your Espana and the wood marquetry inlay down the back. Important? Only after you’ve approved the neck, fingerboard and action, the woods, bracing, bridge and – above all – Espana’s tone. Then it’s nice to discover a subtle touch of Espana’s quality that tells you you’re getting more than your money’s worth. Which doesn’t happen too often these days.
